Qual piloto se destacou no agitado segundo treino da MotoGP em Jerez?

The second free practice session at the Spanish Grand Prix was marked by accidents, resulting in Pecco Bagnaia setting a new lap record at Jerez. The KTM team also faced difficulties during the session. Maverick Vinales initially broke Bagnaia’s 2022 pole position record, but Bagnaia responded with an impressive final effort, finishing a tenth ahead of Vinales with a time of 1m36.025s. However, this record is expected to be surpassed in the Saturday session. Marc Marquez, who performed well in the first practice, was in contention for the top spot in FP2, but lost ground in the final sector. Marco Bezzecchi, despite an early crash, secured fourth place with the help of Bagnaia’s slipstream. Rookie Pedro Acosta also had a good performance, finishing in the top 10. Jorge Martin, Aleix Espargaro, Enea Bastianini, Fabio Di Giannantonio, and Alex Marquez secured direct passage to Q2. Brad Binder, who showed promising pace, missed out on Q2 due to a late crash. Jack Miller and Dani Pedrosa also failed to reach Q2. Franco Morbidelli struggled to set a competitive lap time, while Alex Rins and Takaaki Nakagami were over four tenths behind Q2. Several riders, including Vinales, Raul Fernandez, Miguel Oliveira, Alex Marquez, and Fabio Quartararo, were involved in accidents during the session.
