Exclusivo: Fenestraz acredita que desempenho em Misano lhe dá um impulso de confiança antes de enfrentar Mônaco.

The French Nissan driver, Sacha Fenestraz, scored his first points of the season in Italy. He finished ninth in the first race and fifth in the second race. Looking ahead to Monaco, where he had a strong performance last year, Fenestraz is optimistic about repeating his success.

He admits he didn’t expect such a good result, but acknowledges that everyone has improved since last year. Despite a challenging start to the year, Fenestraz remains confident. He enjoys the Monaco track and believes another strong weekend is possible, as he came close to the podium last year.

The Nissan team has exceeded expectations this season, with Fenestraz’s teammate, Oliver Rowland, currently in third place in the driver’s standings. Rowland has achieved four consecutive podiums. Although Fenestraz hasn’t been able to match Rowland’s performances, he recognizes the experience gap between them.

Returning to the street circuits, Fenestraz is excited for the upcoming race in Monaco. He sees Rowland’s performance as a positive for the team and acknowledges the valuable experience he brings. Fenestraz believes that if they can achieve another good result together, it would be amazing.

Fenestraz admits he has been facing challenges this season, especially seeing his teammate do well. However, he remains realistic, understanding that Rowland has six years of experience compared to his second season. He plans to take it step by step and sees his fifth place in Misano as a confidence boost. His goal is to continue performing well.

CEO Jeff Dodds, before the launch of the FIA Formula E GEN3 Evo car, made positive comments about the future of the sport. Fenestraz appreciates Dodds’ efforts since joining the FE board. He hopes Dodds’ words about more urban tracks and preserving the DNA of Formula E are true. However, Fenestraz expresses concerns about the current trend of races on permanent tracks like Misano and Shanghai. He hopes Formula E does not lose its essence.
