Siemens lança novo supercarregador para veículos elétricos com 400kW de potência

Siemens, through Smart Infrastructure, has launched an additional version of the fast charger for electric vehicles SICHARGE D, which provides a maximum power of 400 kW

The manufacturer revealed that this new charger was designed with flexibility in mind, and in this sense, the SICHARGE D is suitable for different uses, such as destination charging, public fast charging, or highway charging, and offers a continuous and stable power of 400 kW at an ambient temperature of 40°C.

Equipped with a multilingual touch screen with an intuitive user interface, the new charger allows for cable management both at the charger and at the dispenser, facilitating handling and making charging as convenient as possible for electric vehicle drivers.

Charging Point Operators also benefit from great flexibility, as the touch screen offers different options for advertising placement and allows for integration of a wide variety of payment terminals.

“The widespread adoption of electric mobility is absolutely necessary for a more sustainable future. Reducing charging time, both for electric cars and trucks, especially on journeys, will play a key role in increasing the convenience and acceptance of this type of transportation. The SICHARGE D represents a major milestone on the path to achieving this goal”, Markus Mildner, CEO of Siemens eMobility, stated.
