Max Verstappen delighted after achieving an incredible victory in the ‘chaotic’ Sprint event in Shanghai.

Max Verstappen had a remarkable performance in the Sprint race of the Chinese GP. He emerged victorious despite facing some challenges. Starting from P4, Verstappen strategically used the run-off area during the first lap to overtake his competitors. He also managed to successfully navigate through the constantly changing wind conditions and took control of the RB20. Lewis Hamilton and the second Red Bull driver secured P2 and P3 respectively. The teams’ tire choice was influenced by the unpredictable weather, with all teams opting for medium compound tires, except one. Verstappen revealed that he held back his pace in the early laps to preserve his tires and acknowledged that the degradation of his car was comparatively lower. With his dominant victory, it is expected that Verstappen will continue his strong performance throughout the Chinese GP weekend.
