Haas adota nova estratégia para melhorias na F1, diz Magnussen.

Kevin Magnussen, the Danish driver for Haas, shared that the team has implemented a new strategy to introduce updates in the 2024 season. Instead of relying on a big update, Haas will now focus on smaller, continuous updates for their challenging VF-24. Magnussen believes this approach is sensible and offers flexibility to make adjustments, if necessary. Although the next update may not be revolutionary, Magnussen is encouraged by the fact that Haas is already bringing improvements to the car early in the season. He recognizes that the competition for sixth place in the championship is fierce and every small gain matters.

Looking ahead to the Chinese Grand Prix, Magnussen expects Haas to continue their battle with Red Bull for the lower points positions. Currently, Red Bull has a three-point advantage over Haas in the Constructors’ Championship. Magnussen is excited to return to China and hopes that Haas can have a strong performance. Although he acknowledges that the field is divided into two distinct groups, he believes Haas can compete at the front of the midfield pack and challenge for the position of the sixth best team. He recognizes that AlphaTauri (formerly known as Red Bull) is a strong competitor, but remains optimistic about Haas’ chances.
