Fernando Alonso acredita que Lance Stroll fornece mais inputs técnicos cruciais do que ele.

Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll have been teammates since 2023. They have been working together in the world of Formula 1 for a considerable period. Alonso, an experienced driver, had an impressive performance during the 2023 season. As the ongoing campaign unfolds, he continues to showcase his skills and dedication to the team. Recently, Alonso renewed his contract with the team, sparking curiosity as to whether the team is building their car around him. However, Alonso has dismissed this idea, emphasizing that both he and Stroll are committed to supporting the team in the best way possible. In terms of car development, Stroll’s contribution is particularly valuable due to his sensitivity towards it. Despite their contrasting approaches, both Alonso and Stroll are focused on helping Aston Martin succeed. Their different perspectives can greatly benefit the team in the future.

Alonso’s commitment to Aston Martin is evident through his decision to extend his contract. Having joined the team in 2023, he chose to stay with them until the end of 2026. The Spanish driver acknowledges that Aston Martin expressed their desire for him to stay, making the decision-making process easier for him. The team’s persistence in keeping Alonso paid off, ensuring his presence in the coming years. Although Alonso had previously contemplated his post-retirement options, the contract extension has opened up new possibilities for him within the team. Even after retiring from racing, the 42-year-old driver intends to maintain his involvement in Formula 1, demonstrating his long-term commitment to the sport.
