F1 pundit afirma que Sergio Perez é o piloto ideal para se juntar a Max Verstappen.

The agreement between Sergio Perez and Red Bull will come to an end at the end of this season. However, the Mexican driver is determined to convince Milton Keynes to renew his contract.

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez joined Red Bull in 2021. Since then, the Mexican driver has achieved some victories. However, Checo has not been able to come close to matching his world champion teammate. Speculations have emerged that Milton Keynes could release the 34-year-old driver. F1 presenter, [presenter’s name], believes that Perez is the ideal partner for Verstappen.

Brundle highlighted the economic advantages of keeping Perez for the next season. The Mexican driver has extensive experience and is not prone to frequent accidents. Additionally, the F1 presenter emphasized that Verstappen does not mind Perez’s presence on the track, as the Dutchman consistently outperforms the 34-year-old driver.

Martin Brundle stated that Perez is currently the perfect driver to join Max Verstappen in Milton Keynes. The team principal, [principal’s name], revealed that at least 16 drivers were interested in taking Checo’s place for 2025. [Principal’s name] would have been the top candidate for that position. However, the Australian driver faced difficulties this season.

Despite not being able to match Verstappen’s performance, Sergio Perez has remained with the Austrian team until now. Although the Mexican driver has faced pressure from Milton Keynes in recent months, he has managed to retain his place. However, reports suggest that Red Bull leadership rejected Perez’s request for a two-year contract.

Brundle stated that Perez’s ability to adapt to the Red Bull machine is the reason for his stay. Despite facing a performance drop in the last season, the Mexican driver has consistently delivered commendable results. Martin Brundle insists that unless another driver can surpass Perez in this aspect, the 34-year-old driver remains the best choice to join Max Verstappen.

Sergio Perez has not yet secured an extension with Red Bull for the next season. The Mexican driver will be seeking to challenge Max Verstappen for wins this season to solidify his position in Milton Keynes. However, this may prove to be a difficult task for Checo, as Verstappen continues to perform at his peak. Fans eagerly await the outcome of Perez’s journey with the Austrian team.
