Renovado Nissan Qashqai traz um novo design e mais tecnologia

Nissan has decided to renew the “best-seller” Qashqai, with a new, bolder look to align with the brand’s latest models, in order to maintain the status of the SUV that has sold over 350,000 units in Europe since its launch.

Thus, the renewed Qashqai presents a more elegant aesthetic thanks to a redesigned design, with a more aggressive front section inspired by the patterns of samurai helmets. Therefore, the grille has been completely redesigned to create a more striking first impression, with a black finish and a satin chrome finish, imitating a Japanese armor.

The luminous signature has also been changed, now appearing with slender headlights that frame the grille, while the daytime running lights maintain the boomerang shape, but now with a much more open angle. The rear is marked by a new set of taillights with transparent LED technology, and a bumper that has been redesigned to convey a more sporty look.

The exterior finishes include, depending on the version, elements in satin chrome or ‘gloss black’, redesigned 18” wheels as standard, while for the higher versions, there are new 19″ and 20” alloy wheels. In addition, Nissan has announced a palette of 13 colors for the bodywork, eight solid colors and five two-tone colors, three of which are new: white and pearl black and Ocean Green.

In the interior, the highlight is the technological update, with an infotainment system with improved graphics and faster processing speed, now integrating Google services such as Google Play, Google Maps navigation, and Google Assistant activated with the phrase ‘Hey Google’, connectivity with Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto.

In terms of safety technologies, the refreshed Qashqai has received a boost in driver assistance systems, with Nissan Connect allowing real-time display of the car’s location. Additionally, the Around View Monitor system provides an enhanced view using four cameras, with the front camera offering a 200-degree angle. Furthermore, the updated Qashqai also features a wide range of driving assistance systems such as Reverse Detection, which detects rear traffic, and Intelligent Speed Assist, which displays the current speed limit on the instrument panel. The Event Data Recorder, a digital black box that stores data from the last few hours of driving, is now standard equipment on all versions. Nissan has also introduced a customizable function in the refreshed Qashqai, the Driver Assist Custom Mode, which allows adjusting the intervention of some safety systems to better adapt them to the driving style.

As for engines, the Qashqai does not bring any news, keeping the range of engines that are already known from 1.3 liter “mild hybrid” gasoline with two power levels, 140 and 158 hp, as well as the “full hybrid” e-Power version of 1.5 liters with 190 hp.
