The President of Honda Racing Corporation was asked about his ambitions with Aston Martin after the power unit supply agreement. The Japanese executive stated that their goal was to win the world championship in 2026. However, he acknowledged that this would be a challenging task for the constructor. Nevertheless, Honda believed that setting high goals would motivate them to give their best alongside Silverstone.
Honda discussed their goals with Aston Martin and the CEO and President of Honda. Both parties acknowledged that achieving these objectives would not be easy.
