Última volta de desapontamento determina o resultado da segunda corrida de Fórmula E em Misano.

Hello, how are you doing today?

I am doing well, thank you for asking.

In the second Misano E-Prix of the Formula E, Oliver Rowland lost his chance of victory on the last lap, when his Nissan car suddenly stopped, allowing Pascal Wehrlein, from Porsche, to secure his second win of the season. Rowland was on his way to a dominant victory until he experienced a lack of power, causing his car to stop. Despite the disappointment, Rowland’s engineer was not sure what went wrong, stating that everything seemed fine from his side. Frustrated, Rowland questioned why his energy levels were not properly monitored. This twist of events allowed Wehrlein to clinch the victory in the second race, redeeming Porsche after Antonio Felix da Costa’s disqualification in the first race. Wehrlein had also had a race without points in the previous event, but managed to bounce back and take the lead in the drivers’ championship. Jake Dennis held onto second place in the race and maintained his position in the standings, while Nick Cassidy, from Jaguar, secured the final spot on the podium by a narrow margin. Nico Mueller finished in fourth place, his best result in Formula E in three years. McLaren’s Jake Hughes, who started from pole position, dropped to fifth place after receiving a penalty for gaining an advantage by going off track. Sacha Fenestraz, Sergio Sette Camara, Jean-Eric Vergne, and Hughes completed the top eight. Maximilian Guenther finished ninth, followed by rookie Jehan Daruvala, who scored his first point in Formula E. Abt Cupra’s Lucas di Grassi missed out on scoring points for the second consecutive time due to a penalty for causing a collision. After starting from the back of the grid and being disqualified in the first race, da Costa made a strong comeback before his race was ruined by damage to the front wing. Norman Nato also suffered damage to the front wing, ending his chances of scoring points. Mitch Evans, the pole position in the first race, faced technical issues and finished in 18th place. Jaguar’s tough weekend continued with Robin Frijns and Sebastien Buemi retiring from the race due to damage. Frijns caused a brief safety car period when he went off track after a collision involving Sam Bird and da Costa. Buemi’s incident was not seen, but he ended up parked next to Frijns in the Envision garage.
