The van from the commercial vehicle division of the largest European manufacturer has a new version: the VW Transporter Sportline, which promises to excite many fans of the model that already has several generations. In this community of owners, there are also thousands of enthusiasts of tuning and car customization, a phenomenon that the brand from Wolfsburg is not indifferent to, and therefore, has produced bespoke vehicles capable of meeting the demands of these customers.
And, in this field, the brand’s most recent production is the Transporter Sportline. The van has no specific changes under the hood – and thus the performances remain the same – but it displays a much more dynamic look, which is easily associated with models like the… Golf GTI. This proposal is available in the Kombi format, and in a fully closed configuration, and with two wheelbase lengths.

On the outside, the new bumpers stand out; the red stripe on the grille, in GTI style; the rear spoiler; and also, the 19’’ wheels. This Transporter Sportline also features a lowered suspension by 29 mm, primarily due to the adoption of Eibach springs, a feature that contradicts the number one purpose of any van: to transport heavier loads. The Transporter Sportline is also distinguished by its exclusive “eco-leather” seats with red stitching; exclusive floor mats; leather steering wheel with heating function; illuminated side steps; infotainment system screen with a glossy black frame; and sun visors with illuminated mirrors.
At the same time, the new VW Transporter Sportline is offered with Diesel, plug-in hybrid, and 100% electric engines, with its commercialization in Portugal not yet confirmed, as VW has only introduced it in the UK market for now. It is worth noting that this van is based on the same platform as the new generation of the Ford Transit Custom, which also offers sportier versions, branded by MS-RT.
