VIDEO – Haas unveils stunning new F1 machine design with Toyota Gazoo Racing: prepare for 2026 revolution!

Haas Unveils Stunning New Livery for 2026 F1 Season: A Bold Collaboration with Toyota Gazoo Racing!

In a thrilling reveal that has sent shockwaves through the motorsport community, Haas has officially showcased the dazzling new livery of its 2026 Formula 1 car! Through eye-catching digital renderings, the team unveiled a predominantly white design accentuated with striking red details, marking a significant visual transformation. This bold new look reflects Haas’s expanded collaboration with Toyota Gazoo Racing, which will serve as their title partner for the upcoming season.

The much-anticipated reveal took place just one week before the pre-season testing kicks off in Barcelona on January 26, maintaining Haas’s tradition of online launches ahead of their track debut, rather than hosting a grand launch event.

Driver Lineup Set for 11th Season in F1

Haas is set to retain its dynamic driver duo for an impressive 11th season: Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman. Both drivers showcased their growing potential last year, and their continuity promises to bolster the team’s performance. Ayao Komatsu will continue as Team Principal, ensuring operational stability as the team navigates through a year of radically altered regulations.

Regulatory Changes for 2026: Lighter Cars, Advanced Hybrid Engines

The newly revealed livery offers a tantalizing first glimpse into the future dictated by the 2026 technical regulations. The new cars will be dramatically lighter and more compact, featuring power units that deliver a 50-50 split between fuel and electric energy, along with advanced sustainable fuel. These sweeping changes represent a fundamental shift in the regulatory landscape since the hybrid era began in 2014.

Gene Haas Addresses Challenges Ahead

Team owner Gene Haas has candidly discussed the formidable challenges of developing competitive cars for both the 2025 and 2026 seasons simultaneously. “Like all teams, we’re grappling with the dual challenge of competing in 2025 while designing and building the new cars for 2026,” he stated. Haas emphasized the crucial role of pre-season testing in understanding the capabilities of the new prototypes and adapting to them. “The pre-season period will be vital in comprehending what these cars can do and how we will adapt to them,” he added.

Haas has acknowledged the fierce competition within the midfield from last season, committing to a relentless focus on development both on and off the track.

Engineering Efforts on a Tight Schedule

Ayao Komatsu highlighted the monumental effort required to have the car ready just weeks after the conclusion of the 2025 season. “It’s almost surreal to reveal a new car this early in the year, but it’s equally exhilarating to kick off an F1 campaign with such significant regulatory changes,” he remarked. “We are fully focused on being ready for ‘Shakedown Week’ in Barcelona. It has been a monumental effort from the entire organization, considering the short turnaround from last season to getting cars on track in January.”

Andrea De Zordo, the Technical Director, revealed that conceptual development began in the latter half of 2024 with a dedicated small group, while full resource allocation was only initiated after the summer break of 2025.

Upcoming Tests and Final Preparations

Haas will head to Barcelona this weekend for final preparations ahead of the official debut of their car during ‘Shakedown Week’ at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya starting January 26. This private five-day test allows teams to operate on only three of the five available days. Following this, the team will participate in the official pre-season tests in Bahrain on February 11-13 and February 18-20.

Drivers Optimistic About the Season Ahead

Esteban Ocon, entering his second season with Haas, expressed excitement about the team’s upward trajectory. “I’m thrilled for this year. This team is really growing and learning a lot. Since I arrived, there have been many positive developments. I hope and trust that this team will provide us with an exceptional car to fight for points,” he declared.

Ollie Bearman, in his second F1 season, acknowledged his personal growth demonstrated in the latter half of 2025. “I really elevated my game. In the second half of the season, I started producing strong results that I’m proud of, and that was crucial for me. I’m excited to continue that trajectory this year,” he stated.

Haas is determined to improve upon its eighth-place finish in the Constructors’ Championship from 2025, relying once again on powerful Ferrari engines. Get ready for an exhilarating 2026 season as Haas takes on the challenge with renewed vigor and an eye on the podium!
