Mobi.E regista mais de 339 mil carregamentos em janeiro

Mobi.E has announced that it will start a pilot project aimed at installing low-power charging stations in residential areas.

The project, called “Electric Streets,” has a budget of two million euros and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. It will be carried out in partnership with municipalities, which will select a set of streets located in residential areas without their own parking, for the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles with a power of less than 7.4 kW.

“With this project, Mobi.E aims to open a new front in the coverage of the public electric charging network, creating experimental conditions to provide the growing number of electric vehicle users with charging solutions on public roads, in areas where private spaces are not an option,” the company’s statement said.

To participate in this pilot project, municipalities from the mainland or the Autonomous Regions must submit a expression of interest to Mobi.E, including a proposal for the location of the charging stations, by May 30. Municipalities can participate individually or collectively. In June, Mobi.E will inform municipalities whether their application has been selected.
