Salvador Caetano é o novo importador ibérico da Xpeng

Salvador Caetano Auto announced that it is the representative for Portugal and Spain of the Chinese brand Xpeng, a leader and pioneer in smart electric vehicle technologies.

Xpeng, founded in 2014, focuses on using smart technologies as a turning point for future mobility. Last year, the Chinese brand announced its intention to establish a presence in various European, Middle Eastern, and African markets as part of the “Go Abroad 2.0” strategy, which brings together partners and distributors who share the vision of offering the best smart technology in electric cars and the best experience and service quality for all consumers.

“This strategic alliance establishes the foundations for a solid partnership between XPENG and Salvador Caetano Auto that will allow us to quickly offer Xpeng’s technologically advanced electric cars in the Iberian Peninsula market, thanks to implementation in each market, with a total focus on the needs of our customers.”, said in a statement, Sérgio Ribeiro, executive director of Salvador Caetano Auto & CEO of international automotive distribution.

It is worth mentioning that Salvador Caetano has also been the representative of BYD since May last year, and at the beginning of 2024, it announced that it had added to its portfolio the brands of Dongfeng Motor Corporation – a leader and pioneer in R&D in the automotive sector and one of the largest automotive groups in China.

The commercialization of Xpeng electric vehicles in the national market will start later this year, according to Salvador Caetano Auto’s note.
