Novo acordo de parceria entre Voyah e CATL

CATL and Voyah have signed a 10-year partnership agreement for the development of new products, aimed at promoting the image and implementation of both companies in the global automotive market. The former is the world’s largest battery manufacturer, while the latter is the prestigious brand of Dongfeng, and both are Chinese.

At the official signing of the agreement, which took place on December 17, participated Feng Changjun, the strongman of Dongfeng Motor, Lu Fang, head of Voyah, and Robin Zeng, CEO of CATL, the world leader in the manufacturing of batteries for electric vehicles. According to what was agreed by both parties, CATL will collaborate with Voyah in the development of a new generation of batteries; and, simultaneously, the brand has secured privileged access to technology, including the batteries from the Qilin, Shenzing, and Freevoy series.

CATL and Voyah have also committed to developing systems for fast battery swaps. The premium brand of the Dongfeng Group will work on a new generation of electric models, based on CATL’s Bedrock technical architecture, which allows for the use of batteries capable of ensuring a range of up to 1000 km, by-wire technologies, and also autonomous driving systems of Levels 3 and 4.

The agreement also stipulates that the partners collaborate on marketing and business operations to expand their activities outside of China. Voyah, according to the website China EV DataTracker, recorded a sales growth of over 80% in the first eleven months of 2025, delivering approximately 134,000 electric vehicles, all equipped with CATL batteries.
