Max Verstappen declara Grande Prêmio do Japão ‘perfeito’ após vitória dominante.

Max Verstappen conquered an incredible triumph at the Japanese Grand Prix, with his teammate Sergio Perez finishing in second place. The Red Bull team had a disappointing weekend in Melbourne and needed to bounce back. Verstappen and his team had a remarkable performance in Suzuka, achieving their third one-two finish of the season. After his surprising victory, Verstappen shared his thoughts on the race.

The 26-year-old driver expressed his joy after the race. He emphasized the importance of a good start, which resulted in a collision between Daniel Ricciardo and Alex Albon at Turn 2. Despite the incident, Verstappen managed to maintain the lead after the restart. He believed that the performance of the RB20 car improved steadily throughout the race.

Verstappen praised Red Bull for their effective race strategy and pit stops. He even stated that the race couldn’t have been better. The three-time world champion was thrilled to overcome the setback in Australia and once again stand on the top step of the podium.

Verstappen exclaimed, “The last race was a small setback, but I’m happy to be back here and on top. It’s fantastic to win here!”

After a five-year hiatus, Formula 1 will finally return to China in two weeks. The last race took place in 2019 and was subsequently removed from the calendar due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the country’s lockdown measures. The upcoming race in Shanghai will be a sprint weekend, allowing teams to have only one practice session to prepare their cars.

Verstappen acknowledged that the Chinese Grand Prix would be quite chaotic due to the sprint format. He believed it would be interesting to see how teams adapt with only one practice session after five years of absence from the track.

Looking at the Chinese GP, Verstappen stated: “It’s going to be quite hectic with the sprint weekend and then just one practice session to get into the groove, so it will be interesting!”

Undoubtedly, Max Verstappen and Red Bull will strive to maintain their winning streak in Shanghai. The introduction of the new ground effect cars will bring excitement to the Chinese track, while fans eagerly await Verstappen’s performance as the F1 world champion.
