Carlos Sainz shocks F1 world with stunning podiums: is Hamilton’s legacy crumbling?

Title: Carlos Sainz Shocks the F1 World: Triumph Over Hamilton Sparks Controversy!

In a jaw-dropping twist in the world of Formula 1, Carlos Sainz has taken the spotlight by delivering an unexpected blow to seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton after an exhilarating 2025 season. The Williams driver, once seen as a mere footnote following his controversial switch from Ferrari, has turned the tables on his critics by clinching not one, but TWO coveted podium finishes this year, leaving Hamilton reeling.

After a tumultuous year where Sainz was relegated to the Williams team—thanks to Hamilton’s shocking recruitment by Ferrari—many predicted the end of the road for the talented Spaniard. Yet, Sainz has risen from the ashes, proving the naysayers wrong by achieving remarkable success in his debut season with Williams. As the dust settles on the 2025 championship, Sainz stands as the last driver to have won a grand prix for Ferrari, a bitter reminder of Hamilton’s struggles in the red.

Hamilton, despite his illustrious career, has faced a formidable challenge this season, managing only a single victory—the Chinese GP sprint—while failing to secure a single podium finish in the grand prix arena. This marks a historic low for the British superstar, and it raises eyebrows across the paddock. When confronted by Spanish media outlet Marca about his stunning 2-0 advantage over Hamilton in podium finishes, Sainz could have easily basked in glory. Instead, he delivered a class act: “No, I’m satisfied with my two podiums. I’m not satisfied at all with someone else’s misfortune,” he stated with conviction.

Sainz took pride in his achievements at Williams, celebrating podium finishes in Baku, Qatar, and the Austin Sprint. He reflected on the skepticism surrounding his move to the underdog team, revealing, “When I announced that I was going to Williams, I felt that some people felt sorry for me. It was a bit of a strange feeling. Some journalists, social media, I don’t know, I didn’t see it that way.”

He emphasized his fresh start, stating, “For me, it was a new chapter, another opportunity.” The Williams driver’s mindset was crystal clear when he arrived at the Abu Dhabi test: focused solely on the future—not the past.

As the racing world buzzes with excitement over Sainz’s remarkable performance, the question remains: Can Hamilton bounce back from this unprecedented setback? With the stakes higher than ever, the rivalry between these two drivers is set to reach new heights. Don’t miss the next thrilling chapter in the F1 saga!
