Lewis Hamilton isn’t finished yet: F1 legend’s potential ignites fierce debate in racing world

Lewis Hamilton: The End is NOT Nigh! Insights from F1 Legend Maurizio Arrivabene

In the thrilling world of Formula 1, few names resonate like Lewis Hamilton. However, the seven-time world champion faced an unprecedented setback during the tumultuous 2025 season, leaving fans and pundits alike questioning his future in the sport. Joining the Scuderia Ferrari at the beginning of the year was supposed to mark a glorious revival, but instead, it culminated in what many are calling Hamilton’s most disheartening season ever.

Enter Maurizio Arrivabene, the former team principal of Ferrari, who has emerged as a voice of reason amidst the chaos. Arrivabene didn’t mince words when discussing Hamilton’s current predicament. While acknowledging the palpable frustration surrounding the F1 superstar, he refrained from casting blame on the Scuderia’s present structure. Instead, he delivered a powerful message: “Lewis is NOT finished.”

With a calm yet assertive tone, Arrivabene emphasized Hamilton’s undiminished abilities, asserting that the British driver remains a fierce competitor deserving of a top-tier race car. “Hiring someone of Hamilton’s caliber only makes sense if you can provide him with a truly competitive car,” he stated. “He needs the right equipment to succeed. If you can’t offer that, then don’t even consider bringing him on board. This isn’t a criticism; it’s simply common sense.”

But that’s not all! Arrivabene also took the opportunity to express his deep admiration for Ferrari’s rising star, Charles Leclerc. He passionately declared, “I love him! He’s an exceptional driver and consistently proves that. One day, he will be a world champion.” Yet, the question lingers: will that championship be with Ferrari? “I hope so, but I can’t say for certain. He will definitely win a championship,” he confidently predicted.

As the dust settles on a bitter season, the F1 community finds itself at a crossroads. With Hamilton’s future hanging in the balance and the Scuderia striving for redemption, one thing is crystal clear: the racing world is eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Will Hamilton rise from the ashes, or is this the beginning of a new era? Only time will tell, but if Arrivabene’s words hold any weight, don’t count Hamilton out just yet!
