Oscar Piastri mira espelhar impacto de Lewis Hamilton na Fórmula 1.

Oscar Piastri praised the impact that Lewis Hamilton has had on the world of Formula 1. Piastri, a highly respected driver, acknowledges Hamilton’s efforts in promoting inclusion and respect within the sport. Many current drivers, including Piastri, aspire to leave a similar legacy. Piastri believes that it would be meaningful to have a lasting impact beyond wins and championships, just like Hamilton’s work in making the world a better place.

Piastri also reflected on the past and recognized the contributions of former drivers, such as Jackie Stewart, who brought advancements in safety to Formula 1. He appreciates the progress made in the sport and looks forward to seeing if McLaren can maintain their competitive pace in the upcoming races.

Looking ahead to the next Japanese Grand Prix, Piastri is optimistic about McLaren’s chances. The team had a strong performance in the previous race in Australia, and Piastri hopes they can replicate or even improve upon that success. Recognizing the strength of other drivers, McLaren aims to secure their first win of the season. The team has showcased their capabilities throughout the 2024 season, minimizing mistakes and demonstrating their potential. Only time will tell how McLaren will fare on the challenging Japanese circuit.
