Ford Ranger atualizada chega em 2026

Ford has just unveiled a new set of improvements for the Ranger pickup, updates with which it aims, in its words, “to maintain leadership in the segment in terms of design, capability, technology, and safety”. In terms of style, all versions will feature a new, darker theme applied both on the exterior and interior, with new textures and finishes in Black Ebony Gloss, Black Mate Asphalt, and Dark Chrome on the exterior components; and, in the cabin, decorative elements in Black Gloss and Magnetite, which replace the chrome and brushed aluminum effect on the steering wheel, door trims, and dashboard. The new color Ignite Orange Metallic will also be available, along with new exclusive interior stitching for the Wildtrack version.

“We spent a lot of time monitoring and anticipating color trends, and it became clear that the Ranger needed to move away from gray and opt for black,” said Krista Lindegger, Ranger Designer. “We anticipated that green would also be highly appreciated by premium pickup customers – and the new Green Acacia option is a color that works very well on the pickup,” she continued.

As for the equipment, highlight the inclusion of BlueCruise technology in the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant of the Ranger, for assistance in highway driving, and the new 12” touchscreen and 12” instrument panel, now offered as standard across all versions. Another new feature is the Trailer Theft Alert, a system that, through the Ford app, notifies owners if a trailer is detached from the tow bar.

It is worth noting that the Ranger PHEV offers 281 hp and 697 Nm, announcing a range of 43 km in 100% electric mode, while the offering continues to include the powerful 3.0-V6 turbodiesel engine with 240 hp and 600 Nm of torque, paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission. Ford will begin accepting orders for the revamped Ranger starting at the end of December, with the first units being delivered to customers in May of next year.
