Lewis Hamilton faces shocking third consecutive Q1 elimination: is his F1 career in peril?

Lewis Hamilton Faces Crushing Setback: Third Consecutive Q1 Elimination at Qatar Grand Prix!

In a shocking turn of events, Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton has suffered yet another humiliating defeat in qualifying, this time at the Qatar Grand Prix. The legendary seven-time champion found himself knocked out in Q1 yet again, marking a dismal continuation of his recent struggles at the Lusail International Circuit.

Hamilton’s woes were glaringly evident as he finished in a disheartening P18, narrowly ahead of only Lance Stroll and Franco Colapinto. Yet, due to Gabriel Bortoleto’s five-place grid penalty from the previous race, Hamilton will start the grand prix from a lowly P17. This performance follows a streak of disappointments for the Mercedes driver, who is grappling with an alarming decline in form.

To make matters worse, Hamilton was nearly three-and-a-half tenths of a second slower than his rival Charles Leclerc, who managed to secure the eighth-fastest time in the Ferrari. This dismal outing follows Hamilton’s historic last-place finish in qualifying at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, a first in his illustrious career where he finished a grid-setting session at the very bottom due to pure pace.

This back-to-back failure to make it past Q1 is unprecedented for Hamilton, marking the first time since 2009 that he has been eliminated in the opening qualifying session for three races in a row. The last time he faced such a downturn, it was during the Monaco, Turkish, and British Grands Prix, where he also failed to reach Q2.

Adding to the drama, Yuki Tsunoda also fell short of advancing, finishing P16 despite having outperformed Max Verstappen in sprint qualifying—a noteworthy achievement given it was the first time Tsunoda outqualified the Dutch ace since joining Red Bull.

As Hamilton continues to grapple with these setbacks, fans and analysts are left wondering: What’s next for the iconic driver? Will he find a way to turn his fortunes around, or are we witnessing the beginning of the end for one of F1’s greatest competitors? The Qatar Grand Prix promises to be a high-stakes race for Hamilton as he seeks redemption on the track. Stay tuned for all the electrifying action!
