Nova Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake elétrica já disponível para encomenda desde €56 900

Following the remarkable acceptance that the sedan of the range has recorded all over Europe, Mercedes-Benz is now beginning the sale in Portugal of the two 100% electric versions of the new generation CLA Shooting Brake, both equipped with an 800 V lithium-ion battery with 85 kWh of usable capacity, rechargeable via the onboard charger of 11 kW (22 kW optional), or at a fast charging station of up to 320 km. Now available for order in the Portuguese market, prices start at €56,900 for the CLA 250+ Shooting Brake (front engine with 272 hp and 335 Nm; 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds; maximum speed of 210 km/h; 766 km of range in the combined WLTP cycle) and at €61,450 for the CLA 350 4Matic Shooting Brake (one engine per axle; all-wheel drive; combined output of 354 hp and 515 Nm; 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds; maximum speed of 210 km/h; 740 km of range in the combined WLTP cycle). It is worth noting that, still during 2026, the offering of the CLA Shooting Brake will be expanded with the introduction not only of other 100% electric variants but also with a gasoline engine featuring 48 V mild hybrid technology, available in three power levels.

In the family “van,” what makes a difference for the CLA is, above all, and as is customary in these cases, the rear section. Not only in terms of style (in this particular case, a mention for the panoramic roof, offered as standard, which extends from the windshield to the rear deflector painted black), but also in what it adds in terms of versatility, largely due to a trunk with up to 1290 liters of capacity (available when the rear bench seat, foldable in a 40/20/40 ratio, is completely folded down), which can be accessed through the standard electric rear gate, just like the roof rails. At the front, under the hood, there is an additional storage compartment, commonly known as frunk, with a capacity of 101 liters.

At a minimum, it is curious the emphasis that the official communication from the house of the star gives to the new steering wheel, less for its improved ergonomics than for the reintroduction of physical controls, instead of touch controls – namely, the toggle switch for cruise control and the speed limiter, as well as the rotary knob, in the style of a “roller,” for the volume of the sound system, a measure adopted, admittedly, in response to the numerous requests made in this regard by its customers… Also worthy of mention is the advanced MBUX infotainment system, already equipped with the new MB.OS operating system, developed by the Stuttgart brand itself, with artificial intelligence from Microsoft and Google, and permanently connected to the company’s cloud, thus allowing remote updates of all software, including the driving assistance system.
