Lewis Hamilton Declares Ferrari’s Nightmare Season ‘The Worst Ever’ After Shocking Las Vegas Performance

Lewis Hamilton Hits Rock Bottom: “It’s the Worst Season Ever” as Ferrari Struggles Continue!

In a dramatic twist of fate, Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton has unleashed a scathing indictment of his first season with Ferrari, branding it his “worst season ever.” This shocking declaration comes after a lackluster performance in Las Vegas, where Hamilton limped home from 19th to a meager 10th place, marking a new low in his illustrious career.

The dismal reality? Hamilton recorded an unprecedented P20 in qualifying, not due to car failure but simply because he was the slowest on the grid. With no wins and no podiums to his name this season, the once-mighty champion is facing a bleak future as he grapples with the unrelenting pressure of the sport.

Hamilton’s Las Vegas adventure saw him navigating a challenging race that began from the hard Pirelli tires, forcing him to endure a grueling first stint of 30 laps before finally switching to medium tires. Despite gaining nine positions throughout the race, Hamilton’s post-race emotions were anything but optimistic. “I feel terrible, terrible. It’s been very… it’s been the worst season ever,” he lamented to Sky F1, capturing the despair that has enveloped his season.

This discontent comes on the heels of Ferrari president John Elkann’s fiery remarks directed at the drivers. Following a disastrous double DNF in Brazil, Elkann did not hold back, insisting that the team needs a shift in focus. “We need drivers who think more about Ferrari and less about themselves,” he declared, adding to the mounting pressure on Hamilton and his teammate Charles Leclerc.

In response, Hamilton reaffirmed his commitment to the team, emphasizing the collective responsibility that lies within the Ferrari ranks. “We all need to take responsibility in this team, and we all need to play our part,” he stated, acknowledging the hard work of every member of the Ferrari team. Despite the overwhelming challenges, Hamilton expressed a glimmer of hope, vowing to help the team rebuild and grow.

However, the Las Vegas race was yet another nail in the coffin for Ferrari’s hopes of catching up to Mercedes in the Constructors’ Championship. With only two races left in the season, Hamilton’s total of 149 points represents his lowest tally since 2009, a year when wins were only worth 10 points. The pressure is mounting as he stands on the brink of an unprecedented season without a podium finish.

As the F1 circus prepares for the next race, all eyes will be on Hamilton and Ferrari, who must confront the harsh realities of a season gone awry. Will Hamilton rise from the ashes, or will this season’s struggles haunt him for years to come? The countdown continues, and with every race, the stakes grow higher.
