Title: Zak Brown Slams Verstappen: “Hamilton Should Be 8-Time Champion”

In a fiery revelation that has sent shockwaves through the Formula 1 community, Zak Brown, the CEO of McLaren, has taken aim at reigning world champion Max Verstappen, accusing him of crossing the line with his on-track aggression. As the 2025 season approaches its climax, with just three races remaining and Verstappen trailing Lando Norris by a staggering 49 points, the tension is palpable. With only 83 points left up for grabs, it seems the formidable reign of Super Max may be on the brink of collapse.

This season has been a rollercoaster for Verstappen, who has showcased the nearly flawless potential of the RB21. However, it’s evident that if any other driver had found themselves in this position, the championship would likely have already been clinched. McLaren is acutely aware of the threat Verstappen poses, and Brown’s comments reveal a deeper concern for the sport’s integrity.

Speaking to the press, Brown stated, “Max can be a bit too aggressive on the track, where his arrogance often shines through. Yet, it’s true that all the greatest F1 champions have a touch of that arrogance and are willing to use their elbows.” He didn’t hold back, directly referencing the infamous clash between Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton at Interlagos in 2021, suggesting, “Max has sometimes exceeded the limit, especially regarding his overtakes on Lewis, which were excessively aggressive.”

But the drama doesn’t stop there. Brown also hinted at the larger implications of Hamilton’s career, declaring, “Lewis should already be an eight-time world champion.” This bold assertion echoes the frustrations surrounding the controversial decisions made during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where many believe Hamilton was unjustly denied his rightful title.

As the countdown to the next race intensifies, all eyes will be on Verstappen. Will he temper his aggressive style, or will McLaren’s critique fuel his competitive fire? One thing is for certain: the battle for supremacy in F1 is far from over, and the stakes have never been higher. With the world watching, the question looms large: can Max Verstappen reclaim his crown, or will he be overshadowed by the legacy of Hamilton? Only time will tell.
