Max Verstappen, the current world champion, has been racing for the Red Bull F1 team since 2016. He has shown great mastery under the current regulations and has won three consecutive world championships. Red Bull’s technical director, Pierre Wache, praised Verstappen and highlighted what sets him apart from other Formula 1 drivers. Verstappen had an impressive record of 19 wins last year and broke several other records. Wache also discussed the qualities that make Verstappen a champion driver. Verstappen has a data-driven approach and demands a lot from himself and his team. He has a contract with Red Bull until 2028. In the current 2024 F1 season, Verstappen has already won two Grand Prix races out of three. He was on track to win in Australia, but a problem with the rear brakes forced him to retire early. The next race on the calendar is the Japanese Grand Prix, which Verstappen won by a significant margin last year.
