Hamilton Slams Ferrari: “SF-25 Slid Too Much, I Can’t Race Like This!

Lewis Hamilton Slams Ferrari’s Performance: “I Don’t Want to Race Like This!”

In a shocking revelation after the first practice sessions at the Mexican Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton pulled no punches when discussing the challenges he faced on the track. The seven-time world champion was sidelined during the initial practice, watching as fellow competitor Antonio Fuoco took the wheel of the Ferrari. However, when it was his turn in the afternoon session, Hamilton managed to secure a fifth-place finish, but the performance left much to be desired.

Clocking in a best lap time of 1:17.692, Hamilton found himself a staggering three-tenths of a second behind the session’s fastest driver, Max Verstappen. The Mercedes star didn’t mince words about the difficulties he encountered during the day. “I’m surprised at how relatively close we are considering how unpleasant it was on track,” Hamilton remarked in his post-session interview. “It wasn’t a disaster, but I skipped FP1, and the car was sliding a lot with very inconsistent balance.”

Hamilton’s frustration was palpable as he expressed the urgent need for improvement. “I’ve got a lot of work to do tonight to figure out how to achieve a smoother balance,” he continued, highlighting the uphill battle he faces as the team tries to find its footing. The urgency in his voice was clear, as he stated, “We will review the data and make plans, but I absolutely do not want to race like today. We need to extract more from the tires, and I know the car has more pace than this.”

As the countdown to the race continues, Hamilton’s candid critique of Ferrari’s performance serves as a powerful reminder of the intense competition in Formula 1. With the stakes higher than ever, fans and experts alike will be eagerly watching to see how Hamilton and his team respond to these challenges in the upcoming sessions. Will they rise to the occasion, or will the shadows of Friday’s struggles loom large over their race weekend? Only time will tell!
