Isack Hadjar Urges Delay on Red Bull F1 2026 Promotion Announcement Amidst Season Pressure

Isack Hadjar, the rising star of Formula 1, is making waves as he navigates the final stages of the 2025 season. With just five races left, the young French driver is calling for a crucial delay in the much-anticipated announcement regarding his future with Red Bull Racing for 2026. As the excitement builds around his potential promotion to the senior team, Hadjar is determined to keep the focus on racing rather than speculation.

Red Bull’s advisor, Helmut Marko, has hinted that a decision regarding the team’s driver lineup will be revealed after the upcoming race in Mexico. While Marko assures fans that Hadjar will definitely be on the grid next season, he remains tight-lipped about which Red Bull-affiliated team the talented driver will join. The overwhelming expectation is that Hadjar will secure the coveted second seat next to reigning champion Max Verstappen. However, Hadjar himself is urging for silence around his future until the season concludes.

“I’d like to know at the end of the year because it’s more annoying than anything, the noise,” he revealed to the media, including Motorsport Week. “Five races left—I just want to keep pushing.” Hadjar is clearly focused on finishing the season strong, emphasizing that he would prefer to keep the spotlight on his performance rather than the swirling rumors surrounding his career.

Reflecting on his journey from last year to this season, Hadjar acknowledges the immense pressure he faced. “Twelve months ago, I was a bit unsure. That’s true—I had an idea, but this year I’m in a better position,” he said candidly. Unlike last year’s uncertainty when he was striving for a spot in F1, Hadjar now knows he has a confirmed seat for 2026. “I’m a lot less panicked,” he admitted, a clear indication of his growing confidence.

Yet, despite his stellar performances this season—including a spectacular podium finish at Zandvoort—Hadjar has dismissed any notion of moving to the Red Bull team before the season ends. “It’s so unlikely. It would mean I would have just two more races with the team. It’s just not going to happen,” he asserted firmly. His loyalty to his current team is evident, as he aims to help secure vital points to elevate their position in the Constructors’ Championship.

The anticipation surrounding Hadjar’s future is palpable, but for now, his sights are set solely on racing. As he battles against the clock and competing teams, the young driver’s determination to keep his plans under wraps until the season ends adds an intriguing layer to the unfolding drama of the Formula 1 world. Will he rise to the challenge and make history alongside Verstappen, or will he continue to defy expectations with an impressive performance in the remaining races? One thing is for sure: Isack Hadjar is a name that F1 fans will be hearing a lot more about in the coming years.
