Próxima temporada de Drive to Survive vai cobrir o drama em torno de Horner.

According to James Gay-Rees, the Executive Producer of Drive to Survive, the ongoing controversy involving the head of Red Bull Racing and a staff member will be a topic addressed in the seventh season of the show. Since the story broke and Horner was cleared of any wrongdoing by Red Bull GmbH, the energy drink company that owns the team, a series of dramatic events has unfolded. This includes the leaking of alleged text messages between Horner and the staff member, the staff member being suspended from her position, her decision to appeal Red Bull’s decision, and her plans for future actions.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Gay-Rees confirmed that the Horner debacle will be somehow addressed in the upcoming season of Drive to Survive, which will focus on the 2024 Formula 1 season. He emphasized the importance of finding a balance in telling the story to keep all parties involved satisfied, including Netflix and the production team. Gay-Rees also expressed that while Horner may seem to be in a favorable position at the moment, the situation is far from over and its outcome will determine how it is portrayed.

Gay-Rees had a conversation with Horner about the issue and shared what he was told by the Team Principal and CEO of Red Bull Racing. According to Gay-Rees, Horner joked and blamed him, saying, “This is all your fault.”

In addition to the controversy involving Horner, the 2024 F1 season promises to be full of controversies and exciting stories. This includes Lewis Hamilton’s final season with Mercedes, Carlos Sainz’s final season with Ferrari, the ongoing conflict between Susie and Toto Wolff and the FIA, and numerous other narratives that will surely captivate the audience.
