Hamilton’s Ferrari Nightmare: 18 Races Without a Podium Breaks All-Time Record

Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari Nightmare Continues: A Record-Setting Drought in Singapore!

In a shocking turn of events that has left fans reeling, Lewis Hamilton has yet again failed to secure a podium finish while driving for Ferrari, cementing a dismal record that no one could have anticipated. The Singapore Grand Prix turned into a grim spectacle for the seven-time world champion, as the Scuderia Ferrari squad struggled to find their footing on the demanding street circuit, finishing as the fourth fastest team on the track.

As the lights went out in Singapore, hopes were high for a Ferrari resurgence, but what transpired was a haunting reminder of the uphill battle facing both Hamilton and the team. Charles Leclerc, representing the iconic racing marque, limped home in sixth place, while Hamilton’s race was marred by brake issues, ultimately relegating him to a disappointing eighth place after incurring a penalty.

This race has set a staggering precedent: with 18 races gone and no podiums in sight, Hamilton has now matched a notorious record previously held by the late Gilles Villeneuve’s teammate, Didier Pironi. This marks the longest podium drought to start a season for any Ferrari driver in history, a fact that is hard to digest for fans who once believed in the allure of Ferrari’s rich legacy.

The weekend began with a glimmer of hope, as the team promised a comeback. However, those promises quickly dissolved into a lackluster performance that left fans scratching their heads. With every passing race, the pressure mounts on Hamilton and Ferrari to reverse this alarming trend.

As the F1 world looks on, the question lingers: how much longer can Hamilton endure this relentless struggle for success? Will Ferrari find a way to break this grim cycle, or are we witnessing the beginning of a new era of despair for one of racing’s most storied teams? The next races will be crucial, but for now, the ghosts of Singapore haunt the Scuderia.
