Bentley mostra a quinta evolução das suas asas

Bentley is transitioning to electric mobility at a slower pace than expected, after dismissing the plan to become a 100% electric brand by 2030.

Despite delaying its electrification plans, the British brand continues to work on the launch of its first fully electric vehicle, and “Autocar” has now revealed the first images of the new 100% electric model, “caught” during testing.

According to the British publication, the first test prototypes have been photographed, hinting at what may become the brand’s first 100% electric luxury urban SUV, which is expected to be unveiled in mid-next year and reach the market in the second quarter of 2027.

According to the same source, the first electric model from the British brand will feature a design based on the electric concept EXP 15, unveiled in the summer. Technical details have not yet been revealed; however, the foundation will be the Premium Electric Platform (PPE), developed by Audi and Porsche. Therefore, it is expected that the first fully electric Bentley may have the same powertrain as the new electric Cayenne, which will present with two electric motors, all-wheel drive, and according to “Autocar,” produces 405 hp in the base version and 816 hp in the top-of-the-line version.
