Ford is calling back 115,539 vehicles in the U.S. due to a problem that may cause the upper shaft of the steering column to detach.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the problem could lead to a loss of steering control and affects vehicles from 2020 to 2021, including the F-250, F-350, and F-450 models of the American brand’s pickup truck.
The NHTSA has already indicated that Ford dealers will inspect the affected models and replace the defective component at no cost to the owner.
