Stellantis is recalling 164,000 units of the Jeep in the U.S. due to issues that may cause the front door trim to detach from the vehicle.
The information was provided this Wednesday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), covering the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models manufactured between 2022 and 2025.
According to the NHTSA, Stellantis has already indicated that the brand’s dealers will inspect the affected models and will replace the door trim as necessary, free of charge.
It should be noted that this Jeep “recall” comes after another one that took place in early September, which required the recall of about 92,000 units of the Jeep Grand Cherokee in the U.S. due to a software error in the hybrid control processor that could cause a loss of power.
