“Não vai acreditar,” Denny Hamlin reage à perda do eixo traseiro de Marco Andretti na corrida de caminhões em COTA.

Denny Hamlin was surprised by the shocking incident involving Marco Andretti at COTA.

During the NASCAR Truck Series race at COTA, Andretti’s truck axle suffered a serious incident. Roper Racing team lost the rear axle during the race, but fortunately, no penalty was imposed due to the unusual circumstances surrounding the wheel loss.

In a recent episode of his podcast Action Detrimental, Joe Gibbs Racing driver expressed his shock and disbelief at what happened to Marco Andretti. He described how the entire truck was disassembled from the rear, leading to the incident.

Furthermore, Hamlin praised NASCAR for their decision not to penalize Marco, considering the shocking and dangerous nature of the incident. Although Andretti emerged unscathed from the incident, Roper Racing will certainly take steps to prevent a recurrence.

Following the alarming incident in which Marco Andretti lost the entire rear axle and wheels during the NASCAR Truck Series race at COTA, discussions arose about possible penalties. However, NASCAR announced after the race that no penalty would be imposed on the number 4.

The incident can be attributed to Andretti’s high-speed impact on the bumpy track curbs at COTA. Roper Racing will be relieved that the driver is safe and will prioritize improving the reliability of their car in the future.

Unfortunately, Marco Andretti’s season continues to worsen, as this Did Not Finish (DNF) result led to another disappointing race weekend. The driver’s current streak of bad luck will surely motivate him to make a strong comeback in the upcoming races.
