VW já vendeu 1,5 milhões de veículos elétricos ‘ID.’

VW announced that it has reached an important milestone in the journey towards electric mobility, with the delivery of the 100% electric vehicle from the ID family, number 1,500,000 worldwide.

The commemorative vehicle is a black ID.7 Tourer Pro, which offers a range of up to 606 kilometers.

“1.5 million ID. models delivered – it’s a clear proof that VW is a pioneer in the field of electric mobility”, said Martin Sander, member of the Management Board responsible for Sales, Marketing, and After-Sales.

The achievement of VW is considerable considering that the German brand delivered the first units of the ID. range in September 2020. Currently, VW leads the registration statistics in the electric segment, not only in Germany but also across Europe. “This confirms that our portfolio includes the vehicles that our customers really need. As a company, we are on the right track. VW continues to be a reference in the phase of expanding electric mobility”, explained Sander.

Since its launch in 2020, the ID. family has been growing steadily. The compact model ID.3 – the first VW vehicle developed from scratch as electric, was followed, a year later, by the ID.4 SUV in 2021, by its coupé version ID.5, and by the iconic electric minivan ID. Buzz.

The latest additions to the ID. family are the ID.7 and the ID.7 Tourer, launched in 2024, with the latter being the electric vehicle with the highest number of registrations in Germany during the first half of 2025.
