Nissan atualiza GT-R apenas para o mercado japonês

The Nissan GT-R is one of the most popular models from the Japanese brand, which stopped selling the well-known sports car in Europe due to strict emissions regulations. However, in Japan, the brand has just launched an updated version of the model.

The introduction of Nissan’s first supercar, the Skyline GT-R, dates back to 1969, with the unveiling of this vehicle at the Tokyo Motor Show. The production of the Skyline went through several phases, but it was in 1989 that the true precursor to the current GT-R was introduced, the R32 Skyline GT-R, with all-wheel drive and the famous inline-six engine.

In 1996, the next generation of the Skyline was released to the public, with the R33 Skyline GT-R. Just two years later, the R34 Skyline GT-R was introduced, available for sale to the public until 2002.

Dedicated to “pursuing the ultimate driving pleasure”, the GT-R R35 – which made its debut in 2007 – has been evolving steadily since then as Nissan’s flagship supercar.

The latest result of the evolution of Nissan’s sports car now comes with the GT-R Premium Edition T-spec and the GT-R Track Edition designed by the brand’s sports division, NISMO.

Among the improvements introduced in both models are high-precision and balanced weight piston rings, connecting rods, and crankshafts, solutions so far exclusive to the GT-R NISMO Special Edition, allowing for faster rotations and a reduction in turbo response time.
Both models also feature “takumi” certification identification plates in aluminum, exclusive to the GT-R, as well as golden plates with the model number in the engine compartment. The Premium Edition is available with a new special interior color, Blue Heaven.
