Earnhardt Jr. had always been interested in late model races, but had refrained from pursuing them due to the fear of potential embarrassment from losing. However, when he witnessed Elliott’s performance at the Chilly Bowl, he found the inspiration to overcome his fear of failure and embrace the challenge.
Earnhardt Jr. expressed his gratitude to Chase Elliott for providing him with so much inspiration. The impact that the Hendrick Motorsports driver had on him was evidently positive. Earnhardt Jr. also mentioned how grateful he was to Elliott for providing him with something enjoyable to engage in during the later stages of his racing career, away from NASCAR.

According to them, the driver is not putting in enough effort to attract more fans. Kraft further emphasized that focusing solely on racing is insufficient, as NASCAR is ultimately a business. Former driver Brett Griffin also agreed, stating that drivers should do whatever is necessary to promote the growth of the sport.
