F1 Sensation: Lewis Hamilton Facing Harsh Criticism from Ferrari Boss

Formula 1 is buzzing with controversy as Ferrari team principal, Fred Vasseur, unleashes scathing remarks about the legendary seven-time F1 champion, Lewis Hamilton. Vasseur, known for his no-nonsense attitude, has labeled Hamilton as “demanding” and criticized him for being too hard on himself. The drama unfolded after Hamilton’s dismal performance during the Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying, where he openly bashed his own skills, going as far as suggesting that Ferrari should consider terminating his contract prematurely.

Despite joining Ferrari with high expectations earlier this year, Hamilton has failed to secure a single grand prix podium finish, a stark contrast to his teammate, Charles Leclerc, who has already clinched five podiums in the same car. Hamilton’s ongoing struggles on the track have raised eyebrows among fans and experts alike, with his despondent post-race interviews becoming all too familiar in recent weeks.

Vasseur, who recently inked a contract extension, defended Hamilton’s commitment to the sport, emphasizing that the Brit’s lack of success does not stem from a lack of motivation. In a candid statement to the press, Vasseur expressed, “Yes, he’s demanding, but I think it’s also why he is a seven-time world champion… he is very demanding with himself.”

Amidst the turmoil, there might be a glimmer of hope for Hamilton as Ferrari’s recent performance in Hungary showcased the SF-25’s potential to outshine its competitors. Leclerc’s dominant display in securing pole position and finishing fourth in the race could serve as motivation for Hamilton to bounce back stronger in the upcoming races.

As the F1 world eagerly anticipates the 2026 season with sweeping regulation changes on the horizon, all eyes are on Hamilton to prove his mettle in a new era of racing. With his current contract set to expire at the end of 2026, Hamilton faces a pivotal moment in his career to demonstrate that he still possesses the prowess to compete at the highest level.

Stay tuned for more updates on this gripping F1 saga as Hamilton navigates the challenges ahead and strives to reclaim his former glory on the racetrack.
