Nissan quer lançar 30 novos modelos nos próximos três anos
Nissan has announced that it will launch 30 new models over the next three years as part of the new business strategy that has been revised by the Japanese brand. The brand also revealed that 16 of the new models will use electrified powertrains, while the remaining 14 will use combustion engines, in order to “meet the diverse needs of customers in markets where the pace of electrification differs,” Nissan adds in a statement. The Japanese company is expected to significantly increase its electrification efforts after 2026, with the planned launch of an additional 20 hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and 100% electric models. The new strategy of the Yokohama brand involves launching a total of 34 new models by 2030, in order to respond to all segments, with the mix of electrified vehicle models expected to represent 40% globally by the end of the fiscal year 2026 and increase to 60% by the end of the decade. As part of the new strategy, Nissan aims to align the cost of its new electric models with that of internal combustion models by 2030, using next-generation batteries and innovative development and production techniques.

“This plan will allow us to go further and faster in promoting value and competitiveness. Faced with the extreme market volatility, Nissan is taking decisive actions guided by the new plan to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.”, revealed Nissan’s president and CEO, Makoto Uchida.
