Fernando Alonso’s Hungarian Grand Prix Weekend in Jeopardy Due to Back Pain!

Fernando Alonso, the renowned Formula 1 driver, is facing a major setback in his quest for victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The two-time world champion has been forced to sit out the first practice session at the Hungaroring circuit due to a persistent back injury that has been plaguing him for days.

Aston Martin, Alonso’s team, has issued a statement revealing that the Spanish driver suffered a muscle injury in his back following the Belgian Grand Prix and has not fully recovered since. This injury has sidelined him for the FP1 session, with his spot being taken by Felipe Drugovich.

The severity of Alonso’s back pain raises doubts about his ability to participate at full capacity in the upcoming FP2 session and the rest of the weekend. A final decision on his participation is expected to be made on Saturday morning, just before the qualifying rounds.

The team at Aston Martin is closely monitoring Alonso’s condition as the situation unfolds. At 44 years old, the veteran driver’s health and well-being are of utmost importance, especially with the summer break looming ahead. Taking unnecessary risks that could exacerbate his back injury is not a gamble they are willing to take, especially on a demanding track like the Hungaroring.

Stay tuned for more updates on Fernando Alonso’s race weekend as the drama unfolds and the race for victory intensifies!
