Teen Sensation Connor Zilisch Poised to Make History as Youngest NASCAR Xfinity Quadruple Winner

NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Connor Zilisch (88) celebrates Saturday, July 26, 2025, following his win in the Pennzoil 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

A young racing prodigy is on the verge of making history in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, aiming to achieve a feat only two drivers have accomplished before at the age of 19. Connor Zilisch, the rising star from Charlotte, North Carolina, has been dominating the tracks with an impressive streak of three consecutive wins, and now he sets his sights on a fourth victory at Iowa Speedway this Saturday.

Under the mentorship of racing legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. at JR Motorsports, Zilisch has already secured five victories in the Xfinity Series, with the latest three wins coming in quick succession at Sonoma, Dover, and Indianapolis. If he manages to clinch the win at Iowa, he will cement his name alongside Sam Ard and Noah Gragson as the only drivers in Xfinity Series history to achieve four straight wins, making him the youngest driver ever to do so at just 19 years old.

In a recent statement, Zilisch expressed his excitement for the upcoming race at Iowa Speedway, drawing on his past success at the track in the ARCA series. With a strong team behind him and a winning mindset, the #88 driver is poised to continue his winning streak and showcase his talent on the track once again.

The highly anticipated HyVee Perks 250 at Iowa Speedway is scheduled to take place on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET, setting the stage for Zilisch to further solidify his position as a formidable contender in the Xfinity Series. Despite facing challenges such as missing a race due to injury, Zilisch has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with, currently ranking second behind defending series champion Justin Allgaier.

As Zilisch continues to make waves in the Xfinity Series, speculation looms about his future in the NASCAR Cup Series. The young driver acknowledges the transition will be a learning process, emphasizing the differences in the Cup car and the level of precision required to succeed. While details about his potential move to the Cup Series remain undisclosed, rumors suggest Zilisch could be on track to replace Daniel Suarez at Trackhouse Racing, marking a significant milestone in his promising career.

With his eyes set on victory and a bright future ahead, Connor Zilisch is undoubtedly a name to watch in the world of NASCAR, poised to leave a lasting impact on the sport as he continues to push the boundaries of success at just 19 years old.
