Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time World Champion, finds himself in hot water as the FIA takes action following an “unacceptable” incident at the Belgian Grand Prix. After a disappointing Q1 exit at Spa, Hamilton faced the wrath of the governing body due to a track limits violation that resulted in his final out lap and flying lap being deleted. This blunder left him in the elimination zone during the crucial qualifying session.

Hamilton’s woes continued as he struggled to secure a strong starting position for the race after a spin during Sprint qualifying on Friday. The British driver, known for his exceptional skills, faced an unprecedented setback after his final flying lap time was scrapped, pushing him to start the Belgian Grand Prix from a lowly 16th place.

In a rare display of humility, Hamilton issued an apology to Ferrari for his performance, deeming it “unacceptable.” Despite his frustration with the turn of events, Hamilton acknowledged his error and expressed regret to his team for the disappointing outcome.

The incident not only tarnished Hamilton’s reputation but also highlighted the contrasting fortunes within his own team, with his teammate Charles Leclerc securing a promising third-place qualifying position. Ferrari, on the other hand, showcased marginal gains from their upgrades, signaling a work in progress rather than a significant leap forward.

As the Belgian Grand Prix unfolds with Hamilton starting from the middle of the grid, fans and critics alike are left wondering if the legendary driver can stage a comeback amidst the fierce competition on the track. With the spotlight on Hamilton’s turbulent journey at Spa, the race promises to be a thrilling spectacle of skill, strategy, and redemption.
