Ferrari’s Fate Hangs in the Balance as Hamilton and Leclerc Dismiss Crucial Upgrade

In a shocking turn of events, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have cast doubt on Ferrari’s much-anticipated rear-suspension upgrade for the SF-25, putting the team’s “relaunch” at risk. During a recent filming day at Mugello, both drivers failed to notice a significant difference with the new upgrade, raising concerns about Ferrari’s ability to turn around their struggling season.

The introduction of the new rear suspension was expected to be a game-changer for Ferrari, addressing their persistent ride-height issues that have plagued them since the start of the F1 2025 season. However, Hamilton and Leclerc’s underwhelming feedback has thrown a wrench in the team’s plans to climb back up the standings.

Despite hopes that the suspension tweak would unlock the car’s full potential and allow Ferrari to compete for victories in the remaining races of the season, Hamilton and Leclerc’s lukewarm response has left many questioning the team’s prospects.

With Ferrari currently holding onto second place in the Constructors’ standings by a slim margin over Mercedes, every upgrade and performance improvement is crucial in their battle for supremacy. The decision to debut the new rear suspension at the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix, even on a sprint weekend with limited practice time, underscores the team’s desperation to make gains.

As Hamilton pushes for a shift in focus towards the 2026 car, codenamed Project 678, Ferrari’s hopes for a resurgence in the current season rest heavily on the success of the latest upgrade. However, with doubts lingering over the true impact of the rear-suspension tweak, the Scuderia faces an uphill battle to stay competitive in the fierce world of Formula 1.

Stay tuned as the drama unfolds at Spa and Ferrari’s fate hangs in the balance. Will the once-dominant team be able to reclaim its former glory, or are they destined to languish in the midfield? Only time will tell in this high-stakes battle for supremacy on the F1 grid.
