Subaru aposta em três modelos elétricos para a Europa

Subaru Europe has announced three new 100% electric models for the European market, which will complete the range of combustion vehicles.

Among the new models is the updated Solterra, the new Uncharted, and the E-Outback, models based on the new “Global e-Subaru Platform,” featuring more powerful engines, larger batteries, faster charging, and greater towing capacity.

The Japanese brand also announced that its all-wheel drive system has been enhanced for electric mobility and uses software to control torque distribution between the axles, thus providing traction in various road conditions.

The Solterra, launched in 202, now enters the European market after a mid-cycle update, featuring two electric motors and a combined power of 338 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.

Powering the two electric motors is a 73.1 kWh battery, which promises a range of over 500 kilometers in the WLTP cycle. In terms of charging, Subaru announces that the Solterra can charge the battery from 10% to 80% at DC fast charging stations in 30 minutes.

The new Uncharted, the first fully electric compact SUV from Subaru, is available in three versions: with all-wheel drive of 338 hp, with front-wheel drive and a range of up to 585 kilometers. Both versions use a 77 kWh capacity battery.

The entry-level version comes with a 57.7 kWh capacity battery and an announced range of up to 445 kilometers. The onboard charger of 22 kW is standard.

On the other hand, the well-known Outback now gains a 100% electric version with 375 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and announces a range of over 450 kilometers. Just like the combustion engine model, versatility, robustness, and safety are the main priorities.

Subaru has announced that the renewed Solterra is expected to arrive in select European markets by the end of 2025, while Uncharted and the electric Outback will only arrive in the first quarter of next year.
