After Germany and Austria, Porsche has just installed the first “Porsche Charging Lounge” in Switzerland. Located in Signy-Avenex, near Nyon, drivers of electric vehicles from the German brand will be able to charge their sports models in an exclusive environment.
The latest fast charging station from Porsche is the seventh exclusive unit from the Stuttgart company, after the brand has already installed 5 in Germany and one in Austria, which offer public fast charging stations, accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and provide access to a Premium Lounge.
These high-quality Lounges feature restrooms, beverages, free Wi-Fi, 24/7 security, and a variety of options that will allow you to continue your journey smoothly.
The “Porsche Charging Lounge” in Switzerland has six fast DC charging points, each with a capacity of up to 400 kW, which according to Porsche allows a current generation Taycan to be charged from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes, or the new generation Macan to require only 21 minutes for the same charging.
To access the charging stations and the VIP lounge area of the “Porsche Charging Lounge,” a Porsche ID is required. If the vehicle’s license plate is linked to the Porsche ID, the barrier opens automatically thanks to license plate recognition.
