Subaru is preparing to add a new model to its electric range and has now announced that the new Uncharted will be presented on July 17th.
The new 100% electric SUV from Subaru, which shares its name with a well-known video game, is a compact SUV that, in the revealed “teaser,” appears to have similarities with the Toyota C-HR, despite the cloud of dust it emerges from in the image.
Subaru has not revealed technical details about the new Uncharted; however, it is expected that the new model will follow the same path taken by the Solterra and the Trailseeker, which are based respectively on the Toyota bZ4x and the bZ Woodland wagon, as part of Subaru’s partnership with Toyota.
If the new Uncharted turns out to be a twin of the C-HR, it is likely that Subaru’s new 100% electric model will be equipped with two electric motors delivering 338 hp, all-wheel drive, and a 67 kWh battery that supposedly announces a range of up to 470 kilometers.
It is worth noting that Subaru announced plans to have a range of four electric models by 2026, and after the presentation of the Uncharted, the fourth model of the fully electric range will still need to be revealed.
