Xiaomi utiliza melancia para mostrar a resistência da bateria do SU7 Ultra

Xiaomi is a true success in the world’s largest automotive market, China, as the brand has now announced that it delivered 300,000 vehicles in 15 months.

The founder and president of the tech giant, Lei Jun, created the automotive division in 2021, and had to wait two years for the arrival of the first 100% electric model, the SU7.

Launched in March 2024, the SU7 quickly became a best-seller in China. This year, the Chinese brand started sales of the supercar SU7 Ultra in February and at the end of June launched the YU7, the first SUV, also fully electric, with deliveries starting at the end of last week.

According to calculations by “CarNewsChina”, since the first delivery made in April 2024, Xiaomi has delivered an average of 647 vehicles per day. This represents about 27 units per hour.

Recall that the brand announced in 2024 that it delivered 511 cars per day, and this year it aims to increase that number to 840 units. However, the target for 2025 seems difficult to achieve, considering that so far Xiaomi has delivered 160,513 vehicles.

The first model from the Chinese brand, the SU7, continues to account for the majority of Xiaomi’s delivery volume, while the second model, the more expensive sporty SU7 Ultra, has the lowest demand, considering that deliveries of the new YU7 have only just started.

However, please note that the delivery time for the SU7 Ultra is between 6 to 18 weeks. The delivery time for the standard version of Xiaomi’s sedan is 33 to 42 weeks, while the delivery time for the YU7 SUV varies between 40 to 60 weeks.
