Xiaomi revê em alta estimativas de vendas do SU7 para 2024

Xiaomi has already announced that it is considering marketing its 100% electric models, which are a sales success in China, in Europe after 2027, with future models from the brand expected to be equipped with solid-state batteries.

According to “CarNewsChina,” Xiaomi has registered a patent for a solid-state battery. The company claims that the battery is based on a solid electrolyte composed of polymers and metal salts.

The same source reports that it is a particularly flat energy storage device, with a height of twelve centimeters. Furthermore, the battery utilizes Cell-To-Body (CTB) technology, which ensures that the battery is integrated into the bodywork, allowing for a volumetric efficiency of 77.8%.

Xiaomi states that this factor should contribute to enabling ranges of over 1200 kilometers, according to the Chinese CLTC testing cycle. Additionally, a fast charging capability of up to 800 kilometers in ten minutes is expected, although no information has been revealed about the battery’s capacity.

The new energy storage system from Xiaomi has been designed to be compatible with existing lithium-ion battery production lines, which could allow for faster implementation and reduce investment costs for production expansion.
