YouTube star Morgan Burtwistle Arrested for Damaging F1 Car in Spectacular British GP Incident

A group of YouTube influencers caused chaos at the British Grand Prix by allegedly damaging a Formula 1 car, leading to their arrest at Silverstone. The YouTubers, including Morgan Burtwistle, known as AngryGinge, were accused of causing thousands of pounds’ worth of damage to a classic BWT Racing Point F1 car during the prestigious event.

Northamptonshire Police reported that the suspects accessed the display stand and climbed into the vehicle, resulting in significant damage. Burtwistle, along with fellow YouTubers Charlie Clark (Chazza) and Samuel Imie (SamHam), was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. Despite denying the allegations, the trio was taken into police custody for questioning.

After a thorough investigation, all three men were released without further action. Burtwistle later shared his version of events in a YouTube vlog, expressing disbelief at the situation and the hours spent in a cell due to the incident.

While the off-track drama unfolded, the British Grand Prix also witnessed thrilling on-track action. McLaren’s Lando Norris clinched his first home race victory in a rain-soaked spectacle, while Sauber driver Nico Hulkenberg secured his maiden F1 podium with a third-place finish. However, controversy arose as Oscar Piastri received a penalty for erratic driving behind the safety car, affecting his final position on the podium.

The eventful British Grand Prix weekend was a mix of triumph and turmoil, with the influencers’ antics adding a dramatic element to the prestigious racing event.
