Jeep mostra o interior do novo Compass 4xe

After announcing that the new generation of the Compass is the most aerodynamic ever, Jeep has now showcased the interior of the Compass 4xe, which the American brand claims is the most significant update of this model.

Thus, the cabin of the Compass 4xe has been specifically designed for off-road use, utilizing selected materials to maximize durability and practicality.

The fabric of the seats is coated with polyurethane, making it twice as resistant as conventional fabric and significantly easier to clean. The backs of the rear seats feature a scratch-resistant surface, a functional choice especially suitable for pet owners or those who frequently transport equipment, and are equipped with additional storage features for greater utility.

The floor protection is reinforced by durable rubber mats that provide superior protection against mud, gravel, water, and debris. Additionally, a beige color scheme has been specifically chosen to better conceal dirt, maintaining a cleaner appearance even in demanding conditions.

Note also the red details in the interior, which replace the silver elements of the base version, reinforcing the strong personality of the 4xe variant.

Developed based on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, the third generation of the Compass is available with a full range of powertrains, all electrified, although at different levels, with a 145 hp 48V hybrid, a 195 hp Plug-in hybrid, and 3 fully electric versions, ranging from 213 hp in the front-wheel-drive version to an impressive 375 hp in the all-wheel-drive version.

To achieve this impressive 375 hp, Jeep introduced a new dedicated and more powerful rear electric motor exclusively for the brand, which provides an additional peak power of 49 kW and up to 232 Nm of torque. Coupled with this is a rear reducer of 14:1, resulting in an impressive torque of 3,100 Nm available at the rear wheels. This provides maximum traction in the most difficult situations, with the ability to climb a 20% incline, even with zero traction on the front wheels.

Furthermore, with the 4xe version, the Compass takes another step into the world of off-road vehicles built for this purpose. This model features a set of functionalities designed to optimize performance in rugged environments. The main changes include a suspension raised by 10 mm, which improves ground clearance, and a set of off-road bumpers that enhance the approach, departure, and breakover angles — specifically 27°, 31°, and 16°, respectively. These improvements allow for greater agility and confidence when tackling uneven surfaces or steep inclines.
