Mitsubishi apresenta a nova geração do Outlander PHEV pensada para a Europa

Mitsubishi Motors aims to increase sales in Europe by 20 to 30%, with the help of two new models based on Renault vehicles.

The confirmation was made by the CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Europe, Frank Krol, in an interview published this Monday by “Automotive News Europe”, where he made it clear that the company intends to sell between 75,000 and 80,000 vehicles annually in Europe, which represents a significant increase compared to the sales achieved in 2024, although the head of Mitsubishi Motors Europe did not reveal the timeline for reaching this goal.

It is worth noting that the Japanese company presented its latest models for the European market, the Colt and the ASX, which are based on the Renault Clio and Captur, as part of the brand’s strategy to reduce costs and development time.

Now Mitsubishi plans to add two more Renault-derived models to its lineup this year. The first will be the Grandis, based on the Renault Symbioz SUV, manufactured in Spain.

Additionally, Mitsubishi expects to launch the new Eclipse Cross in September, a model that will be based on the Renault Scenic manufactured in France and will have a fully electric version.
